mighty.metadata (development version)

  • Added create_md_table(), create_md_param(), and create_md_values() to create metadata data sets for tables, BDS parameters, and value level metadata, complementing create_md_col() (#11). create_md() returns all four as a named list.
  • resolve_includes() now recurses into include fields on columns within parameters (#52).
  • Added filter_domains() to filter a mighty_study to domains matching a given prefix (default "AD") (#46).
  • mighty_study() now accepts MD* dataset files alongside AD* in the specifications directory (#46).
  • added optional study-level standards and terminology fields to _study.yml and study.json (#48). Each entry requires an id and a version. Missing fields and empty lists are both valid and mean no entries. Only the structure is validated; domain-semantic checks are left to consuming packages.
  • version in standards and terminology must now be a string. Unquoted numeric versions (e.g. 27.0) fail validation instead of silently becoming 27; quote them in _study.yml.
  • added mighty_documents() class with schema validation and document manipulation helpers: list_documents(), select_document(), add_document(), update_document(), remove_documents() (#27)
  • added study-level documents support via _documents.yml and new study@documents property (#27)
  • mighty_domain(), mighty_config(), and study_config() now accept a .data argument to build an object from an in-memory list instead of a yaml file (#51). file and .data are mutually exclusive. Objects built from .data have @file set to NULL and need an explicit path in write_config().
  • Added mighty_config() class for the _mighty.yml configuration file (#25). The @mighty property of mighty_study() now holds a mighty_config() object instead of a plain list, and is NULL when no _mighty.yml exists.
  • Added study_config() class for the _study.yml configuration file (#26). The @study property of mighty_study() now holds a study_config() object instead of a plain list, and is NULL when no _study.yml exists.
  • Added validation for column dependencies in mighty_domain() (#12).
  • Added validation for naming pattern in mighty_study() (#2).
  • Added resolve_subsets() generic to resolve the rows.row.subset property, rewriting component.with.domain to a .mighty_subset(domain, "subset") marker call matching the marker syntax mighty.component::mighty_component$render() (>= 0.1.0.9003) expects.
